Guided camping trips<\/a> often vary in terms of what outfitters provide. When you adventure with High Road, we typically provide some gear along with a personalized hiking packing list. (Each destination and program can vary, so be sure to connect with your trip leader for the definitive list). Here’s what we provide:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Tents:<\/b> We provide 3-4 person tents for you to sleep in. You will set them up, but we will be there to assist. You are responsible for bringing your own sleeping bag and sleeping mat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Cooking Equipment:<\/b> We will provide for all your main meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and the cookware for preparing it. You will be expected to bring your own eating utensils, bowls, and cups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Safety Gear:<\/b> This includes items like first aid kits, emergency communication devices, and sometimes bear canisters for food storage in bear-prone areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Guides:<\/b> The most valuable asset of a guided camping trip is often the experienced guides who accompany you. They’ll offer expertise, lead activities, and ensure your safety.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Hiking Packing List: What you should bring<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    7. Sleeping Gear:<\/b> Bring a sleeping bags and sleeping mat appropriate for your trip. Consult with your trip leader regarding suggested bag ratings. We have trips in the Himalayas as well as tropical rain forests. Your sleeping bag needs will be dependent on your expedition’s destination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Helpful Items<\/b>: Not required, but most adventurers like to bring their own headlamp or flashlight. Feel free to bring other items like a camera or a deck of cards. Remember, though, the more you bring, the more you carry!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
